Formed around 29 million years ago by the intense heat of a meteorite impact or atmospheric explosion, this glass is created when sand and rock melted and cooled into a unique, smooth, translucent material. It ranges in color from pale yellow to greenish-yellow, shaped and weathered by desert winds.
