AAA Grade Libyan Desert Glass, also known as Libyan Gold Tektite or Libyan Impact Glass, is a rare natural glass found only in the Eastern Sahara Desert. Libyan Desert Glass carries a bright, radiant energy reminiscent of sunlight. It uplifts, empowers, and supports your journey of personal and spiritual growth, helping you feel invigorated and aligned as you explore new possibilities.

It formed around 29 million years ago when a meteorite impact or atmospheric explosion produced intense heat (over 1,600°C), melting sand and rock that later cooled into this remarkable material.

The glass ranges in color from pale yellow to greenish-yellow and is often transparent or translucent, with smooth, weathered surfaces shaped over millions of years by the desert environment.

A Note on Natural Formation

Crystals are natural materials and may include inclusions, surface features, or small irregularities. These are not flaws but part of each piece’s unique character — even when a crystal has been polished or tumbled.
